What We Believe

Commitment to Biblical Exposition
We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God.  That it contains no errors and is the authoritative rule of faith and practice for everyone.  Therefore, we are committed to teaching and preaching the Bible in relevant and fundamental ways to all.
Commitment to Prayer
We believe that by being in communion with Christ through prayer, we are able to discern the will of Christ and are thereby empowered to act according to the Wisdom, Love and Power of Christ.  Therefore, we are committed to structuring our lives and this ministry around prayer.  Relying on Christ to reveal his will through prayer at the conception, planning and execution of our activities.
Commitment to Lay Ministry
We believe that the primary role of the Pastor/Teacher is to equip his members “for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ.”  Eph.4:12.  Therefore, we are committed to fully participate in the training programs of River of Life, as they will lead to shaping us into soldiers of God’s disciple-making army.
Commitment to Inconvenience
We believe that in order to be effective for Christ we must be willing to waive our rights to personal comfort whenever we are called on to act out the Love of Christ for another.
